  • Communicating with Confidence (1/2 day)

​​We do it every day, but how many of us do as effectively as we’d like?  This workshop takes a look at some things that we can do to become better communicators both at work and at home.  You will learn about communication facts, differences between styles, and finally everyone will walk away with some useful tips. 

  • I Got the Interview...Now What? (1/2 day)

Whether you are a student or someone returning to work, this is a question many people will ask.  This workshop will address the different types of job interviews, preparing for pre-screenings, face-to-face interviews, negotiating salary, asking the right questions, and much more.  Participants will walk away with valuable tips on how they can better prepare themselves to get the job they want.  With a chance to do mock interviews, this workshop is helpful for promotions, as well as those who are interviewing for the first time.

  • Now Hear This!  Acitive Listening in the Workplace  (1/2 day)

We spend hours a day just listening: to coworkers, family, friends, customers, supervisors, and the like.  In fact, in a recent survey listening was ranked near the top of the list of skills employers desire in their employees and new hires.  But how effective are your listening skills?  Is there room for improvement?  Come to this workshop to find out some simple things you can do to be a better listener.  You'll be glad you did! 

  • Now That's Funny: Making Your Work and Your LIfe More Fun  (1/2 day)

If you believe that laughter is the best medicine, you won't want to miss this workshop.  You'll learn to use humor as a way to improve your health, your relationships, and your work.  Come prepared with your favorite humorous quotes and stories!

  • Speaking with Sparks: Speaking to 5 or 500  (1 and 1/2 days)

One of the most powerful skills you can possess is the ability to give an effective presentation.  This can assist you in many areas of your life and can lead to job promotions, increased respect among peers, and improved self-confidence.  The workshop addresses speech anxiety, building your presentation, handling different audiences, adding humor and much, much more.  This is a "can't miss" for anyone who wants to reduce his or her fears of public speaking!    

  • Customer Satisfaction  (1 days)

Companies realize that without their customers or clients, they wouldn’t be in business.  They are the lifeblood of most organizations.  This seminar is an investment in taking care of the folks that take care of you.  Some of the topics covered are: Setting the mood for success, building rapport to ensure long-lasting relationships, listening, dealing with difficult clients/customers, using persuasive techniques ethically and effectively, and working on teams to meet your customer's service goals. 

  • Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace  (1/2 day)

Working effectively with all the different and, even sometimes, difficult types of people in the workplace—from co-workers to customers to vendors to other authoritative people—isn’t always easy. Success hinges on the ability to manage your own emotions and understand the emotions of others to avoid miscommunications, resolve conflicts, reach consensus, build a cohesive work environment and get things done. Emotional Intelligence, or Emotional Quotient, is the ability to identify and manage one’s own emotions and understand the emotions of others. In this session participants will learn how to identify one’s own emotions and those of others, how to avoid overacting in emotionally charged situations and gain the ability to harness emotions and apply them to thinking and problem solving. Business professionals who understand the connection between emotions and actions and can apply Emotional Intelligence skills can maximize effectiveness in the work place. 

  • Assertiveness in the Workplace  (1/2 day)

Assertiveness involves standing up for personal rights and expressing thoughts, feeling and beliefs in direct, honest, and appropriate ways which do not violate another person’s rights. This program will help you develop assertive skills that will enhance your ability to communicate more clearly and confidently and deal with difficult people more easily. You will learn to choose assertive words and communicate with strength and sensitivity.

  • Using Good Judgement  (1/2 day)

​Whether they are bid decisions or little decisions, for many people there is a process.  In this workshop participants will learn various strategies for making the most effective decisions in a given situation.  Whether your employees are making individual decisions that only affect them, or they are making group decisions that affect others, this training will outline the strategies for making good judgements, as well as learning about the challenges that come about and how to overcome them.  

  • It's About Time!  Time Management at Home and at Work  (1/2 day)

​How much time do you think you waste in a day?  10 minutes?  20 minutes?  An hour, maybe?  In this workshop you will learn some of the biggest time wasters and how to avoid them, tools to keep you on track, and secrets to gaining not just minutes but perhaps even hours during your week.
